Your first visit to a new ballpark is exciting. Even if you’re not a ballpark enthusiast like me and just going to enjoy a game, it’s still an occasion worth commemorating! Below are my tips for your first trip to any new ballpark.
1. First game certificate: Most stadiums offer a free first game certificate to fans, usually found at a guest services location. I try to plan ahead and check the stadiums website for the specific location where they can be found. Some even offer some additional swag like a first game pin!
2. Take pictures:
Oh, and don’t forget to stamp in!!: If you’re also on the 30 ballpark journey or just a baseball fan in general, I highly recommend you get the Ballpark Passport. Each MLB stadium has a stamp (usually at guest services or in the main team store) to mark your passport. Check out their website for more information!
